This is an extremely attractive collection of pieces, some original, but not pedestrian, and others written by Nikki Iles, who is an intensely talented musician. I thoroughly enjoyed playing these through and will introduce my higher level students to them as soon as possible.

This book is full of lovely pieces!!!! I especially like the duet, Shaker Song, which is so fun to play. This is one of those books which you can sit and play through the whole book and not realise the time! So be careful!

Most pieces are lovely, suitable for early intermediate students, sight-readable for a competent Grade Five student. Some are a little repetitive in use of harmonies but mostly very enjoyable to play.
