Its full of well organised lessons that are straight to the point. The units are set out in a logical manner too.
It can be a little dull so I do tend to use another book along side once my pupils get to around unit 9.

So far my 8 year old son has found this easy to look at and read. Would recommend to others who are just learning to play.

This is a great book and I use it to teach all of my beginner students the fundamentals of saxophone playing and music theory. This book is not designed to be fun but for the beginner to quickly digest what is needed to play the saxophone correctly. It is an excellent tutoring book.

This is a quite a good book, I taught myself for a few months from this book and learnt a lot. Although, I would recommend that you also had another book to play, a fun book. This is quite boring but it does teach you the basics.
