This is just a great album. There are some parts that are wrong, for instance, the chorus in ‘Breaking The Girl’ is wrong, its not in the open position. ‘Power of the equality’ is not a half step down, its only the high e which is a half step down. Don’t use a capo for ‘under the bridge’, make your hands strong like Johns. Other than that, its all correct. I highly recommend this book to anyone who plays guitar and owns BloodSugarSexMajik

This is an absolutely flawless transcription of all the songs from the album for guitar. Every song I have learned from this book sounds exactly as it should. All guitar pieces are included to each song with all overdubs and layered guitar riffs present. Each song contains musical notation as well as guitar tablature (including corresponding chord names) and the melodies. The usual timings and tunings are given and instructions about any effects or certain tones used.

A must have for aspiring guitarists, this book is excellent, the tablature is accurate and Frusciante shows what a god he is in his early days with the Chili Peppers. This has to be my favorite Chili album as it has some of the best songs on there that keep the ears interested, and to be able to play along with the songs is great.
