This is a collection of pieces compiled by German editors. While a system of grade exams as in the UK does not exist in Germany, amateur church musician can sit C-exams. (besides organ playing, plainchant, choral singing and conducting, 4 part harmony writing etc.) This collection is meant to provide literature for this level of skills, trying to find literature for every Sunday, which is not too difficult.

Overall there are many excellent pieces in the book. Some are quite short and ideal for church use where only a short piece of music is required. They can also be used for learning playing technique if the player is not experienced. Finish product is very good and there are very few editorial markings which will encourage players to research and think about the piece.
