Firstly, this book should not have the skill level of "Easy", and the use of the words "advanced beginner" is also misleading. It would be beyond the ability of most players below about Grade 5 (ABRSM) standard due to the high range (up to top C sharp and often around high A and above). It would be a great book for a more advanced player as the backing CD is excellent, but I feel it should not be marketed towards less advanced players. I'm not sure what they mean by "advanced beginner" but this, alongside the fact that it is supposed to be a companion to A New Tune a Day may lead people like me to buy it for students who will simply not be able to play the pieces.
A good book in itself, but it's not for beginners of any type.
