Part of the Shorter House Canticles series, This is a nice collection of 6 new settings of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis, all unaccompanied, to liven up evensong. Difficulty-wise it probably lies a bit more towards being challenging - certainly most of the works here need choirs that can cope with divisions in all parts, (like the Duggan) and sustained a cappella singing with some sophisticated harmony (like the Pott), but any good choir that sings choral evensong regularly should find something to get their vocal chords into here. Definitely worth investigating for any choir that sings evensong regularly and is looking for fresh repertoire.
