The fingering for each note is shown and easy to interpret under each individual note.
The description of how to play ornaments could have been better described and graphically shown for a non-musician, but this doesn't make it a reason not to buy.

Not bad. Was a present for my partner and he seems to be having alot of fun with it. It is very easy to use, considering he cant read music and is getting the hang of it from the booklet.

Just does what it says. Easy to follow but there is no substitute to lots of practise.

This is the best buy if you want to learn the Tin Whistle. Even if you can't read music or you've never held a Tin Whistle before the Instruction Book hands it to you on a platter. I definitely recommend it!

This is simply BRILLIANT! Having never played the tin / penny whistle before in my life, this book and CD not only makes it feel much easier than any other instrument I've ever picked up to play before, but it is also VERY VERY FUN!!! From the first song I felt like a proper musician! The CD is brilliant - It really gives you confidence in what you are trying to play! Even if you can not read music - This book has VERY easy to follow fingering notation ALL the way through the book (not just the first 5 pages like most starter books I have seen). If you want to learn this instrument THIS IS THE BOOK YOU WANT!!! With CD, Book and Instrument - It has all you need to start playing away happily!! I would recomend this item 200% or more!! It really is that good!!!

The set itself seems ok, instructions could be a bit more detailed though. The box looked like it had been opened several times and was a bit battered but contents ok.
