The Beauty Of The 'Burst

Books | Guitar

Publisher: Hal Leonard
Format: Books | Instrumental Reference
A beautifully presented history of the Gibson Les Paul guitar from 1952 to 1960. First seen in 1952 and still one of the most sought after electric guitars in the world, the Sunburst Les Paul has captured the imagination of musicians and fans for over 45years. Lovingly photographed and presented, this is a year-by-year, model-by-model presentation of and homage to the 'Burst in all its glory.
Includes a section on some of the many musicians who have helped to make the 'Burst such a legend and a guide to their building, restoration and tone production.

This was a gift and the recipient loves this book. He was quite excited and loved the high quality photographs and information.
I had hoped for the price it would be a hard back but as a gift the recipient more appreciated a paper back cover.
