I am working my way through grade 1 of this series with approx 10 of my beginner students. Some have done exams already, some haven't. Pupils actually ask to go through the book with me. I usually find the CD's with these sorts of music a little pointless as most teachers will be able to sight read the printed accompaniments anyway but actually they are very simple for students to follow and teachers should join in and show the pupils how to duet with the CD as well. Super series. Very helpful in supporting what I think is by far the best skill to learn to do!!

Very helpful guide to sight reading for children at Grade 3 level. Having the CD also means they can work independently.

Good for those still struggling with sight reading. The whole series started in year 1 of piano tuition would really help to lay good foundations in this tricky area.
