Perfect for and loved by my 7-yr old pupils: the books are big & colourful, pages lie flat, wording is minimal (& in English, NOT American) homework involves colouring-in, tracing & sticking fun stickers on the correct answer. In short, genius! 2 minor quibbles : 1) the crotchet rest is given as the reverse 7 form (I teach the squiggly version) 2) the last pages require knowledge of the piano keyboard (nice for pianists but not for string players).

Excellent series of books - the children love them. Easy stages, makes them think, colourful and they like the stickers!!

This theory workbook series is strides ahead of anything else for young children. Bright colours and engaging pictures throughout, and stickers to use on many pages. Material covered in book 2 includes rests, sharps, flats and naturals, bar lines and the note range an octave below and above middle C.
