I found this series great for students who don't want to follow the classical route, especially boys!
Rather expensive - would be helpful to have the option of excluding the CD.

have used this series on & off for many years. Good for teenage boys getting to grips with rhythm & it has good range of notes for what is a fairly easy book, making them feel they 'own' the whole piano. I don't use CD backing in lessons, but some of my pupils do at home.

This is a really good series with good learning guides to each piece. Thoroughly recommend these as an entry to jazz.
