Pretty good 10-minute tutor. Not for beginners due to the presence of barre chords and some stretchy chords.
Which brings me onto the only two omissions from this tutorial:
(1) The Aadd9 and Badd9 chords may require some people to adjust the positioning of their index fingers from the sixth string to the third string halfway through each bar that uses them, as many people will find holding the shape throughout such bars in the way Barney does in this DVD to be too much of a stretch. It was just about bearable in the comparable chords in the 10-minute Teacher DVD for "Message In A Bottle" because that only used three strings, but the extra string used in the versions in this one may well be too painful and awkward.
(2) The other element of note that is not mentioned in the DVD at all (or even on the enclosed sheet-music reference) is that, while you can play along to the instrumental on the DVD in standard tuning, if you wanted to play along to the original master recording you would have to tune your guitar down by a semitone to put it into E-flat tuning. It seems odd that they would omit this when the 10-Minute Teacher DVD of "When You Were Young" retained the E-flat tuning of the original.
Other than those points, this is among the more realistic and "do-able" tutorials in the 10-Minute Teacher range. Anonymous
