Great so long as you have the up to date CD/MP3 playing equipment that reads the mp3 content of the enclosed disc as well as the CD content. All the early exercises require playing of this part of the CD.
So happened I updated mine and can NOW use the book!

Absolutely what I wanted to learn jazz improvisation, HOWEVER book comes complete with a CD containing 60 mins of play-along tracks and 120 mins of MP3 tracks. Have only been able to load the 60 mins to my computer and as the 120 mins are the ones that need to be uploaded am somewhat disappointed, especially as all the early exercises are accompanied by MP3 tracks (Even my 4 youngsters in their 20s can't understand how to access the MP3 tracks.) Would certainly be 5 star if I could use the book!
