G.F. Handel: Ode For The Birthday Of Queen Anne - Eternal Source Of Light Divine HWV 74 (Vocal Score)

Books | Choral, Orchestra

Publisher: Bärenreiter
Format: Sheet Music | Vocal Work

Although presumably written to celebrate the Queen's birthday on 6 February, most probably in 1713, there is no record of the first performance of Handel's Ode. The nine movements contain much variety, but it is the first movement, "Eternal source of light divine" where Handel prodces some of his most inspired writing.
