Excellent reproduction of Handel's original score of Messiah with notes by Donald Burrows, the leading Handel expert. This is the next best thing to owning the real original score
Not really a bad point but this is really only for the specialist interested in how Messiah was originally performed. For musicologists only. Much cheaper is Donald Burrows choral edition of Handel's Messiah by the same publisher, in modern notation.
