It's well designed and the sound is good!
I do hope to have more recommended resources on how to begin with, it seems the fingering is a bit different from my previous experience with other similar instruments, and the last two holes with two tiny holes seems needs subtle changes of space with the finger, which can be better illustrated with a video-based tutorial. If there is any video to help people to begin with , especially with the particular recorder people have bought, that will be perfect!

It looks good and has a lovely mellow sound. A good stepping stone between a basic plastic and the more expensive wooden variety.
The spit comes out of the thumb hole at the back which takes a bit of getting used to!
