Description
A collection of baroque Triosonatas, chosen among the most appreciated and renowned compositions for two flutes and Basso Continuo in the XVIIIth century, to offer the possibility to discover the flute literature of one author without necessarily confronting it in its monographic totality. In this volume we wanted to represent a possible selected set of samples of baroque chamber music, relevant for both its highly refined expressive and interpretative content and for the immediate understanding of its musical phraseologies; for its varying degrees of technical compositional and performing difficulties; for the interesting dialogues between the first and the second flute and between the flutes and the Basso Continuo; lastly, for the remarkable appreciation they have always received from the audience. Sonata op. 6, n. 1 (Corelli) - Triosonata (Telemann) - Triosonate (Händel) - Triosonata (Quantz) - Sonata F. XII n. 4 PV402 (Vivaldi) - Triosonata (Hasse) - Triosonata (Telemann) - Triosonata (Quantz).
