The quartet on this CD; Bojan Zulfikarpasig on piano, Michel Benita on bass and Billy Hart on drums, combine perfectly to demonstrate the delicate balance which characterises the music of Simon Spang-Hanssen, "a balance between profane dance and sacred ritual."
