Rating Review
Customer Rating First some background;- I've been playing electric Blues Guitar for decades. But don't let that put you off, because my so-called "playing" is really better described as laboriously fumbling around trying to figure out little bits of old R&B classics.
Also, (a)I don't read music, & (b)I've always found that TAB never sounds anything remotely like the intended guitar riffs, unless I spend ages working out all the fiddly, but essential, nuances.
OK;- I bought this songbook because it has TAB for three of the truly great R&B classics, ie Hideaway, All Your Love, and Steppin Out. And it also has a CD, which makes life easier. The TAB is no more use than usual, but if you persist, & if you listen to the song enough times, then this book & CD will deliver success, eventually!
The accompanying CD is a great help. It's actually a very good copy of Clapton's playing, and each song is demonstrated by both note for note playing at slow speed, and also by playing through at normal speed.
In summary;- highly recommended if you want to play Hideaway, All your Love, and Steppin Out. And if you can play those three perfectly, then you can probably play everything else without even trying.

Customer Rating Pure gold, at last a guitar tutor which really delivers. Each song is split into manageable sections, Andy plays it a the correct tempo then repeats it slower this time so you can follow the tab, which details every lick. At last I have been able to understand and repeat some of Clapton's most distinctive licks. Just Magic
