Al Di is one of, if not the best, guitar musicians ever, so you're going to pay attention aren't you?
This is a serious work and serious effort is required from the outset; it's not something you can dip into at random.
The lessons are better structured than in similar tutors I have come across and you soon realise there is a clear mission to get you thinking beyond what is written on the page. I've only had this a few days so still working on lesson one but I'm impressed and motivated by what I've achieved so far.
The lack of fret diagrams for scales and arpeggios. I understand this is to improve reading and translating dots on the stave to the fretboard but I feel it would add significantly to ease of use and speed of progress through the exercises.

Rating Review
Customer Rating In terms of content, this book as everything you need to know about its title. Infact there is perhaps too much info! The lesson plans act to guide you through book but it is quite unstructed and unbalanced. There are a few transcriptions of some Al DiMeola songs but these are incompete and can be found in the music, images and words book along with others. A good book especially if used with the other Al DiMeola books. It can be as difficult or as easy as you want it to. It all depends on what you want to learn from it.
