All the favourites are here from the king of the march!
The "March King" John Philip Sousa wrote over 100 marches for his world-famous band. So great was their popularity that they appeared in many solo and ensemble arrangements, even including Guitar, Zither, Mandolin and Banjo. Given their original conception for wind instruments, and Sousa's predilection for, and skill in, transcription, arrangements for Piano seem highly appropriate. Here are eight of his most popular marches: King Cotton, Semper Fidelis, Stars and Stripes Forever, The Gladiator, The High School Cadets, The Manhattan Beach, The Thunderer, and The Washington Post. For intermediate solo Piano.
