Description

The Young Violinist's Repertoire Book 3 has to be the ideal introduction to the literature of the violin. Arranged progressively, it takes the young player from the very early stages to an intermediate standard. In four books music is brought together from all over Europe and from all periods. Altogether, they provide an invaluable source of material and make up an attractive library of simple classics for the learner violinist. This particular part of the series introduces third position. There is piano accompaniment alongside the violin.

This publication contains several of the Trinity Grade 3 pieces and others of a similar level, Very useful for extending the repertoire at this level. Some third position pieces in the latter part of the book will give players more exposure to shifting as well
