Musicroom Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating An excellent book covering a broad range of Satie's distinctive piano work including duets ('pieces in pear form'). This book is well worth getting as a starting point to explore a wealth of other pieces beyond the gymnopedies and gnossiennes that are widely known, and for enjoying his crazy playing notes ('dont eat too much''without frowning' 'very shiny').

This is the best Satie book I've seen and I'd highly recommend you buy it. The paper's a bit thin, but this is now part of the books charm to me. (I'm also a big fan of 'Sports and Divertissments' so would recommend you get that as well)

Customer Rating i thought the service was excellent. despite the awful weather recently, i received my order quickly and in perfect condition.
Lovely edition of erik satie's work, really good value for money too!

Customer Rating Lovely collection of pieces, the Danse en Travers from Pieces Froides is simply stunning, definitely appeals to my teenage students.

Customer Rating Excellent book with many of saties pieces which are otherwise hard to find. A beautiful addition to the library of any impressionist-loving pianist.

Customer Rating Although we liked the these pieces very much we would make two comments:
Keeping the book open by itself is difficult
the print is a little blurred in places
