Musicroom Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating A great edition of a great piece of music! The score is printed very clearly (none of this blurry nonsense you see in some scores, especially Russian ones), and the cover is nice too. It's also not too thick, and it stays open on the music stand.

As for the music itself, it's dramatic, fun, quirky, and full of effects. Most of it is probably marginally easier to play than it sounds in recordings and whatnot. (although precision is important) But be warned, there are some parts that are really for advanced pianists.

There is a notable section at the very end where you have to deliberately play an ascending and descending scale very fast across both hands, playing two notes at a time with each finger. If you don't have big hands, this is probably almost impossible to do smoothly, and trying to play the gaps between the notes instead of the notes themselves is tough!

If you're an advanced pianist and you're after a good quality score, or if you like a challenge where it hurts (at 99% of the way through the music), buy it!
