Interesting, unusual and beautiful harmonies are a pleasure to listen to and play, challenging rhythms expand your skills, having the accompaniment with and without the cornet part is really helpful.
Some of the notes are just too high for those skilled in reading music maybe from another discipline but not so skilled on the cornet. Some of the music was a bit too fast to keep up even after diligent practice. Space for improvisation would be very useful, especially if there were some tips on how to go about deciding what to play.
