Description

William Gillock's timeless jazz originals have been transformed into engaging and very accessible duets by composer/clinician Glenda Austin. The book also comes with a play-along CD that includes separate Primo and Secondo parts, giving the student the flexibility to rehearse as well as perform on their own when a partner is not available. Excellent collaborative pieces!

Contents: New Orleans Blues; Taking It Easy; After Midnight; Mister Trumpet Man; Bourbon Street Saturday Night.

Rating Review
Customer Rating This is a really fun book of tunes and the CD means you can hear what it should sound like. It also gives you the opportunity to play each part three times in one go which is very good practice. The pieces get progressively harder (or is that just me)mainly because of the speed required to play them.
