Five great songs are given the gospel treatment, and the result is a guaranteed showstopper - fun, funky, slick and stylish.

The arrangements are by vocal coach and choral director Mark De-Lisser, and were performed by his choir, ACM Gospel Choir, on BBC's Last Choir Standing - they are all uplifting, modern and a joy to sing.

Arranged for SAT choir with CD backing tracks, they can also be performed with a Piano or band using the Piano accompaniments and chord symbols. This book has everything included to make it as easy and straightforward as possible to learn, with helpful hints for each song and CDs containing full demonstrations, performance backing tracks and individual rehearsal tracks for each vocal part.

"Mark has unique experience of bringing this uplifting genre of choral music to young singers who have never experienced it, so the arrangements are skillfully designed to enable, involve and captivate. There is a brilliance and energy in this collection that makes it a unique contribution to the repertoire. For directors of all choirs - start-up to veteran - this is a MUST." - Suzi Digby, Voices Foundation.

Customer Rating A book with an exciting selection of songs, with good quality backing tracks and very useful rehearsal tracks. I love the breakdown of each part for each song, a great feature!

Customer Rating This is an excellent book with a good CD with all parts recorded independently and a backing track as well.

Customer Rating Great songs, although more challenging accompaniments than I expected. Probably best to be used with CD.

Customer Rating Fantastic and just what I was looking for, simple, straightforward, all parts recorded separately with voice to assist non readers, good arrangements, backing track and demo....hope there is a Christmas one...I want them all for my choir....cool but attractive for a contemporary choir like mine.x

Customer Rating Great, thank you. Easy to follow.

Customer Rating This series is innovative and is presented using high production standards throughout. Note though that this is not conventional choral music in that the vocal parts are designed to be taught by ear through repetition. Part 3 (tenor) is quite high and will rule it out for many choirs without further judicious arranging.

Choirs unused to contemporary styles, and those who lack experience in maintaining an internal beat and momentum, will struggle. Skill level "Easy" is inappropriate for this book as I would grade it "moderately difficult".

Customer Rating Excellent selection! Would have preferred an orchestral accompaniment, but the piano is sufficient.
