Description

The Ocarina is an ancient instrument dating back thousands of years and has been important to many cultures all around the world. In recent years, it has enjoyed increased popularity and was featured on the now classic video game, 'Zelda: Ocarina of Time'

There are many different types of Ocarina - this book is designed for use with a four-hole pendant Ocarina pitched in D.

You'll discover that learning to play the Ocarina is a fantastic and fun way to begin enjoying music. The instrument is inexpensive and it's easy to play beautiful tunes from the very beginning.

You don't need to be able to read music to start using this book. In fact, any teacher, with or without musical knowledge, will discover that Ocarina From The Beginning offers an easy-to-use step-by-step method that will yield impressive results. It uses well-known songs, which can also be sung, to make learning fun, and chord symbols are included so that a guitarist can accompany the songs.

You'll be amazed how quickly you learn and soon you'll be playing your favourite songs to impress your friends and family.

Musicroom Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating Overall, a nicely presented book with clear progressive steps based round popular/familiar children's tunes. Only criticism is that the ocarina pictures illustrating finger positions for the songs were a little small; I would have prefered these to have been bigger with the words for the songs smaller.
