Steven Sproat is considered to be one of the UK's finest Ukulele exponents. He has developed his own style over 38 years of playing and has performed extensively in the UK and abroad, including some prestigious venues such as Ronnie Stott's, the Mean Fiddler (London) and the New York Ukulele Festival.

He has performed with the Ukulele Orchestra and has released three albums and various singles since the late '80s. His music has received air play on BBC Radio 2, BBC Scotland and other stations in the UK and abroad.

As an author and respected teacher, Steven has written three books, published by Music Sales Ltd worldwide and his workshops are hugely popular. His teaching skills are in demand and his pupils include several well known TV and radio personalities, such as TV comic Harry Hill, broadcaster Nicky Campbell and renowned actor Sir Tom Courtenay.
