Musicroom Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating This book is a mixed bag really. I bought it because I love some of the songs in it, but sadly the arrangements are very odd - The Water is Wide (Waly, Waly) & The Ash Grove in particular. But that's just my personal preference. Some of the songs that I didn't know are really lovely and so after my initial disappointment I was encouraged.
I would say though that if you are a female with a proper alto range (in other words a real 'low voice') the top Es in some of these arrangements might come as a bit of a shock. Personally I'd say it's more of a mezzo-sop range, rather than an alto.
