Customer Rating A wonderful book for all skills! The very common 'French Book' is great because it features several wonderful pieces and composers, including the basic Chaminade's Concertino and Faure's Fantasie, as well as Ernesto's Cantabile et Presto. Each piece is a great blend of lyrical and technical passages. Get this book!!

Customer Rating Very good value for the amount of Music you get, especially compared to buying all the pieces separately. Delivered the next day in perfect condition.

Customer Rating Great value! Every flautist of Gr8 or above should have this. French music can be very expensive - these pieces bought separately would cost 5 times this price. Not easy repertoire but playable for the competent flautist. All music is from the great era of French flute music in the late 19/early 20th century.

Customer Rating I found this a very nicely edited edition (Louis Moyse, no less) and of course it arrived quickly and in good order! I find the graphics are not the easiest to read - but I think that's a personal preference for something a little heavier - plus not brilliant eyesight.

Customer Rating Excellant value for money, alot of pieces in this book grade 8 standard and above, not for the fainthearted but a useful addition to the serious flautists music library.

Customer Rating All the best French Flute Music in one volume. Great for Grade 8+ ability.

Customer Rating Great collection of French flute pieces. This publication represents great value for money despite the slightly average quality of the typesetting/printing.

Customer Rating I agree with the other reviews in that this is very good value and provides a lot of material for advanced players. I would just add that if choosing a piece for LCM Grade 8 I think the Poulenc Sonata is a better bet (also available).
