Description

A collection of arias drawn from the dawn of Italian opera to the late nineteenth century, from the some of earliest examples of the Florentine Monody, to the dramatic colours of Carmen. All texts are given in both English and their original tongue. The set has been carefully selected specifically for the Mezzo-Soprano, providing a significant and highly challenging repertoire for the soloist. Also features full Piano accompaniments.

Customer Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating The content of the volume is fine, an interesting collection of arias. However, the book itself is bound and glued in such a way that is very difficult to get the book open to place on a piano - I have had to break the spine to get the pages to stay open. It appears to have been very cheaply put together and in fact the pages near the spine are not flat, they are rippled. The publishers need to look into this and improve the binding.
