Bob Chilcott's Peace Mass was first performed on the 27th June 1998 in Chester Cathedral as part of the Chester International Children's Choral Festival. It was commissioned by Martin Cook and the Chester Music Society Junior Choir. It is a wonderful piece of work to perform and was written for Upper Voice Choir (SSA), Semichorus, 2 solo voices and Organ accompaniment.
