Description

Folk Song Sight Singing Series is a wonderful collection of Folk Tunes passages and studies from many countries, designed to facilitate sight singing and aid learning of the Tonic Solfa system. It is carefully graded for schools and colleges and includes advice and notes to get the best from the series and suggest how this technique and skill may be taught. It will help improve eye training, key identification and recognising pitch.

The series contains hundreds of exercises of different leaps and different keys and impresses the rationale that practice should precede theory and practice makes perfect!

The exercises and studies are relatively easy for those who have at least sound elementary Solfa training.

This is the second book and contains tunes to aid fluency in major and minor modes.
