Well known TV piece and very popular with limited resources.
Tricky tenor entry which sometimes sounds a bit scroungled but left out in extremis!

Well printed and so very clear to read even in a poorly-lit church.
We can't often afford anthems for the ad-hoc choir we have on "benefice, fifth Sunday" services - so I thought it was a bit expensive.

Nice easy piece for choirs with limited vocal resources. Audience/choir will recognise it so won't be nervous.
Some congregations/wedding couples may not want it because of its association with a sit com.

Customer Rating super piece that everyone knows, and easy to play to !!

Customer Rating Good popular piece for basic choirs (slightly more tricky than you think in one or two places). Brings a smile to singers and listeners alike!

Customer Rating This is as all-embracing a repertoire item as anything in our library. It fits in with church programmes, but is even more appropriate in entirely secular programmes.
The harmony is not as obvious as one would at first think, so that the singers are kept interested throughout. Nice to have an increasingly quiet ending, from full choir right down to solo.
We would really like more items cast in this mould.

Customer Rating This is terrific little anthem, enjoyed by all our singers. Some of the parallel chords are not as easy as they look for altos & tenors. The 'Valley of the Shadow' section is rhythmic fun, especially the bold unison moments where the 'fear no evil'. The soprano version available online here is only the 'theme', so doesn't match up. Therefore you can't save money by buying top-line copies for the trebles, sadly.

Customer Rating I love this piece of music and it was great to have it in print. Certainly would recommend it.
