Musicroom Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating A book that will please and motivate kids and musical parents. The pages are boldly and clearly laid out, the learning progression is excellent. The accompaniments on the CD are fun and highly musical, and these are also included in the book for teachers or parents to play along with their kids. If you want to expand and teach more, the Practice Games book is good too.

Customer Rating I wouldn't usually use this book but have recently taken on some students who have been using the series. While it is nice to play tunes right from the start it doesn't teach reading very well. I have found that children who have learned using this system struggle to remember note names and to associate where the notes are on the stave with where they are on the keyboard.

Customer Rating Just what I was looking for and prompt delivery, well done.

Customer Rating This is by far my favourite book for teaching young beginners. It is the only method I have found to be equally successful with slower learners and high-fliers alike. The Cds are excellent and encourage students to develop a good sense of timing right from the start. The whole series is very well thought out with plenty of goodsupporting material beyond the basic tutor books.
