Book is split in 3 sections for different keyed instruments ie bass treble and concert .
Scales to play over the chords used in the songs
Good way to learn to play jazz
Scales are a bit tight on page making slight hard to read ,may be better is spread over two pages.
Bass lines in book are not same as played ,if you want note for note bass lines you have to buy another book

Customer Rating The first book I used as an introduction to jazz standards and performance. It has since become my main teaching book for jazz beginners, full of good tunes and nicely laid out chord structures.

Customer Rating This book is alot of fun! It is very challenging, but you feel you are making progress. If you are new to improvisation, pick up this book. You will learn.
Debs

Customer Rating This is a good book. Fourteen cool tracks transposed into keys suitable for various instruments such as tenor sax, alto sax, Bb clarinet and trumpet. Each track has useful guidelines on soloing and there is a helpful section on scales provided. The recordings on the cd are also well produced.
Adrian Fish

Customer Rating Book covers Bb, C, Eb and bass instruments so is very good value. Helpful comments about famous recordings are useful for what the tune could be like! If you were that good. Good fun to play around with even if you dont want to play jazz seriously.
