Good idea if your a teacher, its cleary set and has some pictures throughout, ideal for kids as they seem to like the pictures....also enough room to put stickers if they do well

This is a very useful book and I've been usung them continually since their release last year. Prior to buying these notebooks, I made my own, bound, detailed and personalised. The ASRSM are very similar to my homemade effort but smarter, professional and full of detailed practice tips, room for recording practice times, teachers notes, parent's comments and space for a report at the end of the 36 weeks. I would highly recommend this little magic practice book

I think this is a really useful little book. My daughter was thrilled when I gave it to her, and her piano teacher thought it was good too - she made immediate use of it, including using the 'shopping list' page! It's good that there is space to note practise time, so the teacher can see exactly what the pupil has done in between lessons, and there is lots of useful info in there too. Top marks from us.

Great little notebook, makes my life as a teacher easier and it's better for the pupil too. I can interact with parents as there is space for their comments. Valuable theory at the back, and I like the little bit of manuscript at the top of each lesson's page. The pupil can fill in how long they've practised and the parent can sign it. It is a useful tool for working towards a grade, and has exam tips, and an end of year report to fill in in the back. Works well for beginners up to about grade 4, for any instrument, and you don't have to be studying ABRSM - a handy practice notebook for anyone.

A great little book from the ABRSM. My pupils are queuing up for them - a couple have even offered to buy them with their own money! It has rekindled an interest in practising for some of them as they have to record how much time they have spent practising each day. Some useful tips and theory notes are also included.

Good little books containing everything you may need- space for teacher, pupil and parent/guardian notes. Also a practice diary to fill in and some witty music related quotes. At the back there is a handy theory section too. I like it, my son likes it and our teacher likes it. After a couple of weeks of using it I have realised that my 9 yr old is starting to think about what to focus on in practice and to have a goal to work towards.

Great little book, child-centred, attractive and with good layout. User-friendly for teachers. Only problem is that it falls apart easily and needs constant selotaping up.

Useful book. Having something so substantial encourages pupils to use it and bring it to each lesson. Plenty of room to scrawl and some nice musical quotes on each page.

Like this. Find it gives more flexibility than the Trinity version, which tries to rein lesson into exam-structure disciplines. Pupils always use it and bring it to lessons, as it is substantial enough to be stuffed into instrument cases. Like the little musical quotes at the top of the page.

Excellent music practice book with plenty of space for teacher to write as well as sections for pupil/parent feedback, practice diary and a couple of lines of manuscript paper. There are amusing quotations at the top of each lesson. Highly recommended.
