Musicroom Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating I have just switched to these books from the ABRSM ones, and will never go back! They are very clear, explanations are generally easy to follow, there is more practise on the tricky bits, e.g. grouping, and the layout is much more appealing.
They are still a little biased towards pianists (maybe that's inevitable), but much less so than other books. There are also handy little touches, hints and tips, and, for example, a keyboard and terminology list inside the back cover.
My pupils are not only doing much better with these books, but also enjoying them a lot more. They are obviously very well thought through, and I thoroughly recommend them.

Customer Rating Without a doubt, all my pupils prefer the Trinity Guildhall theory books to the rather outdated AB ones. Well laid out and clearly presented. Excellent!

Customer Rating This is an excellent workbook. I love the layout. Clear explanations with hand tip boxes. Colourful and fun to use. Excellent alround.

Customer Rating I like the clarity and less patronising nature of this range of books. They are clear, but would also suit an older learner. the only thing I feel that the book lacks is enough practice parts to make sure each e=section is really understood.

Customer Rating These theory books are so much better in clarity and presentation than the alternative board..would recommend!

Customer Rating Excellent theory book, including clear explanations of why things are done this way. The children using these books with me so far find them far more user friendly than the AB ones.
