When Play Piano! was released in January 2006, piano teachers liked the format so much, countless requests for a version for teenagers were received – so here it is!

Play Piano! Teenage Book One features the same fun, systematic and educational approach as the original, but it is styled specifically with teenagers in mind – a first for such a piano course.

Stimulating exercises reinforce topics, lessons and concepts all in this laid-back yet effective method.

GB Teacher
This tutor is well suited to early teens and comes with a cd. A more modern tutor than some others

Cardiff GB Music teacher
Lots and lots of simple pieces in fixed hand positions to really nail basic reading and hands together co ordination before moving on to varying positions.
Nothing really

Musicroom Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating This book is ideal for teenage beginners who want to learn piano without being patronised by cartoon pictures on every page.
It introduces notes in both hands within the first few pages. Key signatures and accidentals aren't covered until the second book.
It teaches thoroughly but might not satisfy a fast learner.

Customer Rating I was most impressed - it is the first time I have bought music supposedly geared towards a teenager & thought the choice of repetoire was ideal.

Customer Rating A good book for this age group and even the adult beginner.
