A collection of the choral works most often performed as part of the Service of Nine Lessons and Carols from Kings College Cambridge every Christmas Eve.

Selected by musical director Stephen Cleobury to include familiar carols, some of the finest anthems as well as a selection from the annual special commissions.

"An interesting collection, and don't be put off by the standard of King's; there's plenty here that more modest choirs could use." - Jonathan Wikeley, Music Teacher November 2009

Musicroom Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating A lovely collection, including so many of the King's commissions over the past couple of decades. Some interesting Cleobury descants and reharmonisations to well-known carols that are worth exploring, which also alow for 4-part singing during descants, which many singers will welcome. It is worth comparing this publication to the two volumes of NOEL (ed. Hill, pub: Novello) which include some of the same repertoire.

Customer Rating A welcome update to the now tired but excellent Willcocks editions
