Rating Review
Customer Rating Try William Gillock's other "Jazz Style" works first. Then in "Still More New Orleans Jazz Styles" there are five more intermediate pieces in which to enjoy the composer at his best. Gillock is such a good writer for all music levels. In this volume you will find "Bill Bailey", "Mississippi Mud", "Canal Street Blues" etc. Gillock encourages improvisation by the player and you will quickly pick up Gillock's musical ideas and phrases; this will then enable you to formulate and experiment with your own pieces with a little practice. You will enjoy this volume.
