Abingdon GB Violin and piano teacher
Some lovely pieces . A clear introduction to LH playing an octave below RH ( C position ) .clear big print.
A couple of odd pieces ( black note study ) and a rather sketchy introduction to sharps and flats ... I usually use some other material to support .

Musicroom Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating As you would expect, this carries on from the first book. Again, another clear tuition book to keep young students learning. I do find that about half way through the book the students tend to drag their heels slightly but after a certain point (Rock-a-bye baby) they're back on track again. All students especially love the elephant piece at the end despite it's difficulty rating!

Customer Rating Book 1 is a brilliant, well-paced introduction to the piano, but I find Book 2 jumps in straight at the deep end with moving hand positions without any gentle build up to this i.e. extension of the thumb or little finger to neighbouring notes. I find that pupils struggle to keep pace with this book, so I usually try to find an alternative to this one wherever possible!

Customer Rating Perfect follow on book from Part 1.
It gets harder so they need to practise!
Covers sharps and flats, fingerings and on continues with both hands.
My kids love it! I'd have to give up teaching if this short series ever went out of print it's that good!
Down side is there isn't a Part 3 :(

Customer Rating I choose this series for all of my younger pupils. For those intending to pursue the ABRSM exam route, working through this book is excellent preparation for grade one.

Customer Rating This is a very good follow on from Me and My Piano 1 or other beginner piano books.

Customer Rating Delivery was swift and the book arrived in good condition.
This is the second 'me and my piano' book for our 7 year old child as suggested by his music teacher. I think that it is a very child friendly book, which he is enjoying working through.

Customer Rating Great tutor book, enjoyed by girls or boys.

Customer Rating A well structured tutor which appeals to young children.

Customer Rating My favourite set of tuition books.

Customer Rating Brilliant for the young learner (6-8). Easy steps. Good pieces. Only problem is too much fingering at beginning so can void all the note teaching down the sides if not careful.
