Very good introduction to piano for young beginners.
Needs a picture showing correct hand position.

Love this book. Introduces both hands straight away and has some hands together elements from an early stage. I like how it moves away from 'home' position in a very straightforward way.
Nothing bad really but for some pupils it might move too quickly. The older beginner might find the pictures too 'babyish'.

Very good start to learning for the younger beginner maybe up to age 9. Lovely colourful pages, titles of pieces, words to sing along to and stickers make it fun. Excellent pace and really good for getting to play with both hands. No huge steps but logical approach in a fun way. All my pupils love the series!

Customer Rating My 5 year old loves this book, which makes it much easier to get him to play. I'd taken no notice of the stickers at the back but he found them and is happily using them to mark how far he has got through the book.
Would recommend for young learners, as it is too young for my 8 year old.

Customer Rating A Fantastic book for the young, however, I was displeased at the author’s meaning of Mezzo Forte; apparently the definition is ‘Play Normal’, which is rather misleading, in my opinion, but yet the definitions for Forte and Piano were correct. Whilst this issue is minor and easily corrected, I do feel that regardless of age, information should be presented accurately, otherwise confusion is likely to occur at a later date.
