One of the most highly-respected and sought-after acoustic guitarists in the business gives you a close-up look at fingerstyle techniques, including several full solo arrangements.

Laurence Juber provides a master's eye view of the lush textures and open-string harmonics that can be created using the fingerstyle techniques. Breaking down some of his most powerful pieces, Juber teaches chord voicings, strumming patterns, picking styles and bass lines that will expand your musical and technical vocabulary.

Create atmosphere with ringing cascades of notes, and learn how to make a melody really 'pop out' of an arrangement. Juber's invaluable exercises will also improve your speed, fluidity and coordination. Master five Laurence Juber solos, as well as an intricate and beautiful arrangement of The Beatles' Martha, My Dear, which promises to challenge even the most adventurous players!

All lessons and examples are fully supported by an enclosed booklet in Tab and standard notation.

Rating Review
Customer Rating As a learner I was expecting this to be instructional. However, a skilled guitarist playing and then playing a bit slower does not equal tuition. Not suitable for beginners - this would be better for more advanced players.
