Rating Review
Customer Rating This book is amazing, and is worth buying just for the CD. I could listen to it all day. The tone he manages to get out of his sax is just beautiful.
I didn't buy a sax with the intention of playing classical music on it, but it is difficult not to be inspired by this.
The tunes are quite challenging, but with a bit of perseverance they are within reach of an intermediate player.
If you are interested in classical music then this is a pretty good buy.

Customer Rating This is an excellent book of solo studies for any saxophone player. The studies are mainly aimed at intermediate to advanced players, and I found most of the pieces to be easily accessible on the first play through, and also very good fun to play. Many of the pieces did prove a bit of a challenge, especially when playing at the 'correct' tempo.

There is a good range of styles throughout the book as well as good variety in key and time signatures. The pieces are also of a good length, ranging from around 1 min to 3.5 mins when played as on the CD, giving you study pieces with a bit more depth to play.

The CD that comes with it is also very good, the pieces are performed brilliantly and also sound really good to listen to.

I would strongly recommend this book to anyone.
