Rating Review
Customer Rating Excellent value. Gershwin is always good and these pieces are particularly good with the arranged "improvised" sections.
This is one you'll come back to again and again - it's enjoyable to play and sounds good.
One or two are a bit tricky to master though most are fairly straight forward - overall I'd rate this item at Grade 6 to 7.

Customer Rating A superb Play along Book and CD, all the tunes are great to play with their melody+ suggested written improvisations. Fantastic group of Jazzy Gershwin numbers, and you can practice your own improvising playing along with the accompaniment CD. As an intermediate player of alto & tenor I found them very playable with a bit of a challenge with the improvisations. I found that some of the pieces drop an octave to keep in the tenor range for the CD; for me it spoilt the tune, this is a personal opinion as I have the Alto book as well, and love playing the Alto to them.
I am using it as a workbook with my Tutor, very good for learning Blues solo playing.
