Customer Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating A very comprehensive collection of some of Chopin's best works including some of his more famous pieces such as Pollonaise Militaire, and some of his best loved Preludes. Well worth the money and a great challenge too.

Customer Rating Excellent collection of popular Chopin! Only criticism is with the book itself - in common with most music books - they are sooo... awkward to keep open on a piano music stand!! Why can't manufacturers use ring binding - so much easier to use!

Customer Rating I returned this purchase . There was a great selection of pieces but too much had been crammed into too little space with the result that the music was squashed on the page and I found it very difficult to read easily.

Customer Rating I bought this book to bring all my Chopin works together rather than scattered through several separate books. For this, it works well. However, some of the pieces are poorly reproduced. In some cases the print looks like a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy; in parts feint, in parts not reproduced at all. Many of the pieces are reproduced in such small print I have to stop and peer at the music to work out the chords. Without doubt my existing copies are easier to read and play from, but then I have to have a pile of books beside the piano and swap frequently. I'd rather have the single volume, even with the poor print.
