French composer, Louis-Claude Daquin, was a dazzling keyboard virtuoso of the Baroque era. Le Coucou or The Cuckoo was originally a rondo for Harpsichord from Pieces de Clavecin, Suite No.3 composed sometime between 1720 and 1730.

This edition for Piano Solo has been carefully edited and revised by Louis Oesterle. The Cuckoo is among the most famous and most played of his works.
