Musicroom Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating An excellent Book/CD combination for learning thrash style guitar (and one of the few resources available). If you like early Metallica, Metal Church, Overkill etc. this book explains clearly how to replicate this style of music with your guitar.
After introducing you to the various rhythmic syncopations and even thrash theory (!), the second part of the book provides three complete thrash pieces to work on - 'MegaDirt', 'Bug Guts' and 'Anvil Head'....complete with rhythm and solo parts.
If you like this genre of music, this is probably the best learning resource out there.

Customer Rating This book is great - never before have I enjoyed an instructional book so much, after learning Guitar for years this finally gives the real deal with how to thrash out - and with small exercises that sound great. I kind of wish I'd gone through this book 10 years ago!
